SELENA GOMEZ, TAYLOR SWIFT LEAD 2011 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS NOMINATIONS

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are among the leading contenders for the Teen Choice Awards, with Justin Bieber, Adele, Lady Gaga and Eminem also scoring multiple nominations.

As reported by E!, the nominees cover the fields of movies, music, television, fashion, sports and more. ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ was the top nominee with 12 nods overall. The ‘Glee‘ Cast earned eight, including Choice Music Group.

Among musicians, Gomez picked up noms for Choice Music Group with the Scene, Music Single for ‘Who Says,’ Choice Love Song for ‘Love You Like a Love Song,’ as well as Choice TV Actress and Choice Female Hottie.

Swift was recognized for Female Artist, Female Country Artist, Female Fashion Icon, Country Single and Choice Love Song for ‘Mean,’ and Breakup Song for ‘Back to December.’ Notably, she competes against ex Joe Jonas for the Breakup Song Award.

Bieber shows up in some odd categories: Best TV Villian, for his role on CSI, Male Hottie, Male Fashion Icon, Male Artist, and Choice Twit, which presumably rewards the most interesting tweeter.

The 18-year-old actress/singer stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon earlier Thursday evening (June 23) to chat about her new song, new movie, Monte Carlo, and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream!

Selena and The Scene performed “Who Says” on the show — which airs TONIGHT @ 12:35AM ET on NBC!

Earlier in the night, Selena stepped out at the TeenVogue sponsored Monte Carlo screening.

Selena Gomez: 'Love You Like A Love Song' Behind The Scenes!

Selena Gomez is showing us around the set of her new music video, “Love You Like A Love Song.”

Shot around Los Angeles and Malibu, Calif., over three days, the 18-year-old actress/singer shared about the song, “I thought that the song is saying what every person feels when you’re in love with someone. For me, it’s like the honeymoon stage. ‘Love You Like A Love Song’ is about that first beginning and that rush and there’s a fun techno beat to it.”

Selena added, “The video is the craziest thing I’ve ever done. Sometimes when you’re in love, there are things you can’t really explain and it doesn’t make sense. That’s how I feel when I’m in love.”

Selena Gomez takes on a bunch of different looks in this preview for her music video “Love You Like a Love Song.”

Selena told E! News on the set of the video, ""This song is fun and I wanted it to be really high fashion and different and I think we have accomplished that. It’s basically talking about how crazy you are about someone whenever it’s the beginning. It’s the honeymoon stage if you will."

She continued, “Because I’m only 18, I think love is supposed to be really fun. So that’s how I interpret it, at this point in my life. I think it’s really fun and you are supposed to enjoy it, kinda dive in.”

The music video is scheduled to premiere tomorrow night on Disney Channel.

Selena Gomez: Good Morning America!

Selena Gomez hits the stage to perform on Good Morning America at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield on Friday (June 17) in New York City.

The 18-year-old entertainer and her band, The Scene, treated the crowd to “Naturally,” “Who Says,” and their latest track, “Love You Like a Love Song” for the morning show’s Summer Concert Series.

The day before, Selena dropped by the Mall of Georgia at the Village Amphitheater where she performed as part of the Monte Carlo Mall Tour.
